About

Overview

My academic journey began with a strong educational foundation. In 2009, I graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, and in 2023 I continued my studies at the Universidad de Salamanca, one of Spain’s most prestigious universities. During my studies, I was awarded the MGIMO medal for outstanding academic achievements, which reflected both discipline and dedication to excellence.

My professional career combines both teaching and academic research. Since 2019, I have been teaching at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Department of Foreign Languages, where I work with students of different levels and professional backgrounds. Earlier, I also taught Spanish at MGIMO University, gaining valuable experience with highly motivated and ambitious students. In addition to teaching, I am the author of several academic textbooks, including: Spanish for Students of Tourism and Hospitality (A1–A2), Spanish for Students of Tourism and Hospitality (B1–B2), and Guide to Spanish Verbs. Indicative Mood. These works were created to make the learning process structured, clear, and accessible for a wide range of learners.

Throughout my career, my main goal has been not only to provide knowledge but also to create an environment where students can enjoy the process of learning, feel supported, and build confidence in their abilities.

I believe that studying a foreign language is much more than memorizing grammar or vocabulary — it is about developing cultural awareness, opening new horizons, and gaining skills that can truly transform one’s life.

MGIMO

Alumni

MGIMO is known for its exceptional standards in language training, where discipline and hard work are essential. From the very beginning, it was clear that the program demanded full commitment — coming unprepared was simply not an option. Out of six students in my group, only two of us graduated. I completed my studies with honors and a gold medal. It was a challenging path, but one that shaped me greatly and proved to be truly worth it.

Instituto Cervantes

I am an officially accredited teacher by Instituto Cervantes. The process was not easy, as it required rethinking many teaching approaches I had followed since university. It taught me to stay true to my principles while remaining flexible and open to new methods. Looking back, I can confidently say it was a valuable experience — one that not only enriched my skills but also brought me wonderful new friends who share a passion for Spanish.

University of Salamanca

"Lusine's passion for the Spanish language is contagious. Her engaging lessons and cultural insights have deepened my appreciation for the language and its nuances."

Books

An introductory Spanish course for hospitality and tourism students. Includes 12 thematic lessons covering basic grammar, vocabulary, and professional communication. Features adapted texts, exercises for all language skills, and creative tasks.

Introductory guide to Spanish verb tenses in the indicative, conditional, and imperative moods.
For undergraduate and specialist students of all fields.

Regular assessments and feedback sessions ensure that your linguistic progress is monitored, and learning strategies are adjusted to optimize your proficiency in Spanish.

This guide is for students beginning to learn Spanish. The manual focuses on the education and use of the Spanish language indicator system, as well as conditional and command inclinations.

The textbook can be used by students of both language and non-language universities studying under undergraduate and major programs.

The guide is the result of students' inquiries about many questions that have been asked me over the years. As a result, I decided to systematize everything necessary for the initial stage of knowledge, to create a database that would help me master the difficult Spanish grammar with ease.
